Well, I’m out of hospital. Went under the knife at about 3.30pm. Was awake in Recovery at about 4.30pm. Ate a bit of custard. Was home by 6.00pm. Plenty of blood still coming out and plenty of swelling and numbness. But I’m doing much better than expected. Will be eating only cold foods today (custard, yoghurt, ice-cream) and maybe have some warm soup tomorrow.
